Hello iFly Forum Community

I hope you can help me with an issue the recently developed with my iFly 740 (VH16050367). My 740 does not want to connect to my home internet connection, nor my cellular internet hot-spot. Both internet sources have worked in the past. I have confirmed that IP Settings on my 740 matches both my internet sources. Is there a fix I you can implement to resolve this issue, or can I remove the SD card and download the current database from my PC?

Hm... I can't get mine to connect today, either. Odd. The 740 has always been slow to connect, but eventually it always has. Not today, though.

The 7xx devices have always been problematic when moving between two networks, like one at home and one in the plane. It's really best to only have one "known" network on the device (where the 7xx remembers the credentials and will automatically log in), and delete any other networks with "known" credentials. That usually means storing the credentials to log into your airplane's ADSB receiver, and then not trying to bring the 7xx home or into the FBO to update it over wifi. Instead, update it via iFly Connect and an SD card interface on a PC, or via a USB thumbdrive.

I've never had a 740 and as I recall the process to delete "known" networks from it is somewhat different from my 720, so I can't offer specific steps.
