Not familiar with your problem, just scrolling through resolving another problem, but major issue is the 740 will only talk 2.4Mgz wifi. Take a close look at that.

Had the same problem. 2.4Ghz must be transmitted for the 740 to work. My router update at home and my cell phone wifi hotspot defaults to 5Gz only with new software upgrades. You might look for an option to turn on the 2.4Mgs wifi. I thought I had a HW failurem nope, just an update failure.
