13.3 announced, but it's still beta?

The March newsletter from Adventure Pilot announces that iFly EFB 13.3 is now available. I click on the link to the Windows Download page and there it is - 13.3.22 BETA and it's 15 days old. I wish they would not announce things that are not in reality there yet. /rant off/.

Export Flight Plan to GRT EFIS?

Thanks - yes multiple posts related to one subject. I'm hoping that adventure pilot will provide a direct to SD card option someday, I'll have to use gmail until then.

Save Flight Plan to Micro-SD card, Android

I want to export a flight plan from the iFly tablet and import it into a GRT EFIS. Being able to save the flight plan file to an SD card is the most direct way I can see to do this. Please enable this function. Thanks, Don Norris

Export Flight Plan to GRT EFIS?

I've now tried to export a flight plan from iFly EFB on both the iFly tablet and the Tripltek tablet to a micro SD card. Both tablets acknowledge the SD card. I creaet a flight plan, more options, Share/Export Flight Plan, Export to Shareable File, then I see a white screen with the flight plan...

That's what I use the Windows app for - on the PC with the big monitor, all my WX resources, etc.

“Share” Airport to Google or Apple Maps

YES!, This. I've been in that situation several times, trying to get my ride to a small grass strip in the middle of nowhere.

Request for recommended ADS-B "In" Device

If the concern is the Stratux "aging", you can buy a new Pi, burn a new microSD card with the latest Stratux image from Github, move the SDR radios over to the new Pi, and you're as good as new.

Request for recommended ADS-B "In" Device

My home assembled Pi based Stratux is working fine with the iFly Tablet and another Android tablet, I don't see any reason to change.

    Any PIREPS the iFly Tablet?

It is a little larger, but I don't notice the difference when flying.

    Any PIREPS the iFly Tablet?

I replaced the plastic side panel with aluminum, braced it in the back, and mounted a RAM ball on the top edge. A RAM 6" double socket arm holds the tablet. I power the tablet with ships power, relying on the build-in battery as a backup. I have one of these between the 14V and the USB-C ...

    Any PIREPS the iFly Tablet?

We now have both the iFly Tablet and the Tripltek tablets and can compare the two. They are similar in size, with the Tripltek being ½" longer, width is the same. The iFly tablet is thicker. The iFly tablet weighs 30.2 oz., the Tripltek is 25.6 oz., both with a RAM ball installed. Both feel...

Recommendations for 7-8 inch Android tablet for iFly

The sunlight readability is a nice feature. The not locking up or shutting down when hot can be significant feature! That's the primary reason I bought the Tripltek.

Recommendations for 7-8 inch Android tablet for iFly

I replaced the iPad and Samsung tablets with a Tripltek 9". They are selling both 8" and 9" models now. It is easily readable in direct sunlight and doesn't shut down due to heat even in 100°F Oklahoma days. Yes, it is pricey, but it's a industrial design made for this type of work. I'm not...
