Been wondering - since the (especially stadium) TFR notes always say “check schedule “ I’m always leery of trusting whether the TFR is active or not without asking ATC. Is it the case that active TFR’s on the schedule are shown accurately in Ifly?
I find the Weather briefing to be useless. It takes way too long to click each part of the briefing and correlate to the images. The standard WXbrief pdf format is quite useful.
Please change Weather briefing to receive and display the PDF version. Or at least offer an option.
And another share destination would be straight to messages/Facebook messenger which would auto generate a link to the default map app at that Lat/Long
In Airport Info page add a standard iOS/Android “share” button.
A number of times I need to find a little known airport on regular Apple Maps or Google maps to tell someone where to meet me - and found myself panning around the map looking for that little grass strip that’s hard to locate...
Yes I agree - if no packets received - then there should be a very visible pop up (or similar to popups at bottom for traffic and airspace notifications.). The ADSB wifi connection to my device in the airplane is quite buggy at this point (I'll post separately for bug report). And I have had...
Yes I like the option for "turn to heading" rather than degrees of turn. Just change the notation slightly - or how about UNDERLINE a heading to symbolize a mag heading.
Just thinking.
+1 on integrating manual entry fuel burn rings!!! I literally came to the feature requests to put this in. I understand it being approx - but would be a helpful approx - based on fuel burn in the aircraft setup page (and editable in flight plan).
Great discussion above. Let's do it!
Agree...
Yes - and similarly I would suggest if there's a certain delay in receiving packets from ADSB - that we would get a notification. I am new to the app - but a few times on a recent long flight I noticed the ADSB data didn't look updated - and sure enough no packets were being received.
Again...
