Saving flight plan to file problem

Thanks for the analysis. I'm good for the time being. I used iFly on my iPhone to export and mail the flight plan.

Saving flight plan to file problem

It's a bit bazar. I believe the intent of the process is to export your flight plan and open the app you specified with the content of the flight plan. Since I specified iFly as the app to use, it opens a new version of iFly See screenshot below with two versions of iFly running. I want...

Saving flight plan to file problem

How do I change what app is used to save a flight plan? Windows desktop version 14.0.57 I wanted to email my flight plan to a friend so I selected More Options =>Share/Export Flight Plan =>Save to file. A dialogue box then appears asking what application you want to use to save this file...

    Release 14.0.57 hangs on install

To those experiencing this issue a fix is in the works. In the interim, there is a workaround. See note from dev team below: <snip> This is a CRITICAL BUG which impacts only iPhone users who have set "Display Zoom == LARGE". Normal Zoom works. I've been working the weekend with one of our...

    Release 14.0.57 hangs on install

14.0.57 is a NO GO for me I opened iFly, on my iPhone, to prep for a morning flight only to see that it automatically updated to 14.0.57. It is hung on the What's New in this Version? screen. Unable to select OK, or Read this Later, or NEXT buttons. Tried hard restarts and swapping...

    Estimating wind speed and direction

FWIW, I have a Skyview HDX system that reports wind speed and direction at current altitude. It's not uncommon to see a significant difference between surface winds and winds at 1000' AGL.

    IFly EFB 12.2.19 released

Today I tested beta version 12.2.24 in flight. This release fixes two Dynon integration bugs which were preventing iOS versions of iFlyEFB from working with Skyview systems. 12.2.24 is a tremendous improvement. Connection to my Skyview system was persistent, flight plans & flight plan...

    IFly EFB 12.2.19 released

Yes, I saw that on Friday. I followed the link and the updates are for the Android platform. I have an iPad mini running iPadOS 16.6. Is there an equivalent update for the Apple platform?

    IFly EFB 12.2.19 released

After reinstalling iFly software and upgrading my Dynon Skyview System to the latest firmware, I still find release 12.2.19 unusable in flight. I was able to use it on the ground to preflight and share a flight plan with my Dynon Skyview system. However, once airborne, it was toast...

    IFly EFB 12.2.19 released

My wingman and I spent some time testing flight plan sharing while in the hangar. The success of consistently being able to share flight plans & flight plan updates with Skyview was short lived. Sometimes we were able to get it to work while other times no joy. I attribute this issue and...

    IFly EFB 12.2.19 released

HI Brian. I just received a call from my wingman, who's panel and iFly setup is identical to mine. He is testing in his hangar and has confirmed that the sharing of flight plans and updates works flawlessly. You could hear the excitement in his voice as the rubber band updates he was making...
