GRT reads serial NMEA output same as an autopilot. I have a legacy model...GRT Horizon HX. Mine doesn't read vertical guidance from an RS323 serial flight plan. I have to separately add vertical info to the EFIS for each altitude change that then gets sent to my autopilot via an ARINC...

I do this via the sd1000 bluetooth device that ifly suggested. You need a wire from that device to the GRT EFIS. It works, but requires multiple clicks in the IFLYEFB setup menu each time to make the connection.

I'd like "setup, nmea output, send to bluetooth rs232, etc...." to be sticky, (set as a default), so don't need to go through that each flight.

Have you tried zooming in? If I understand your question correctly, that will change the type of map you will see.

Ideally, all NOTAMS should be mapped. In my area, I recently learned that Foreflight maps parachute jumping notams. These are easily missed when only provided textually, especially when tied to a center notam instead of an airport.

The Grand Canyon Special Flight Rules Area map is downloaded in iFly with the TAC layer. However, this map legend does not show. Also, there are special flight rules with areas and corridors that have specific altitude requirements that as yet, real plan does not take into account.

How to clean out (delete) all or multiple old flight plans, both from the software and on the server. In the software, one can only delete one plan at a time, which is time consuming. On the server, I have no clue.

Just to be clear. It works great from your existing app, right? Not yet from IflyEFB.

I uninstalled and reinstalled, but this time did not include any flight plans during the sync process. That works, but we should have a way to delete multiple plans from within the software.

I have too many flight plans. Suggested feature: select multiple plans (and/or all plans) for deletion at once, in addition to current capability that deletes 1 plan at a time. OR, Am I forgetting that there may already be this capability via the syncing process somehow??
