Sigh. Nevermind. Classic case of "cannot reproduce the problem when I need to show evidence of a problem." The first time it happened, I spent about 30 minutes trying to figure out how to disable the window. Now, I just went back out to the hangar to get a picture and the popup is removed...

Is there an option to permanently disable the AH popup window when connected to an ADS-B that has no AHRS? I disabled both the AHRS alerts but the window is still there, which blocks 1/2 the map display and cannot be closed by any other means.

I will add to the dogpile here saying I use my 740 to drive my Dynon autopilot - it has worked great for years and I'm not sure what I would do when the 740 eventually dies or becomes unsupported. Spending more money on redundant 3rd party hardware is, however, an unlikely option. Maybe you can...
