I have a home built Stratux ADSB "in" that works very well. I also have a Samsung tablet running EFB as a backup to my 740. Recently, the 740 will show traffic at a distance but as the traffic becomes more of a factor, they disappear! Since I run the tablet at the same time, the traffic still appears on it...so it's not a result of the 740 not receiving the info via WiFi. I have tried all sorts of combinations of traffic visibility thresholds (alt, dist, etc.) and nothing seems to correct the problem.
I would give up my 740 for a good tablet if I could get the NMEA info to my hard wired AV-30's. (To me, a good tablet is an Android one, bright screen, light weight for a Ram mount and doesn't require a docking station)
I was going to ask the question to the factory people at Sun n Fun but for some reason, AP doesn't do this show any more.
Any thoughts on the traffic thing?
