It's very handy to be able to enter a waypoint relative to a VOR using the following formatting: Fix/direction/distance. For example, LAX/123/17 would mean the 123 degree VOR radial 17 nm from the LAX VOR. The system should use the actual radials of the VOR (when the fix is a VOR) and not magnetic bearing because they probably won't align. When using a non-VOR fix, like KLAX, KLAX/123/17 should use the magnetic bearing 123 degrees relative to KLAX.
