I am using Android version and for some reason the DC SFRA does not show up as a TFR anymore. Even on the TFR.faa.gov website the graphical SFRA does not show. Is this the new norm?
I just noticed it on iOS, too. In iFly the SFRA has MOVED to New Jersey, where President Biden is ill with COVID-19.. Garmin Pilot and Skyvector.com show that the SFRA has been DUPLICATED around Rehoboth Beach, DE.
I just emailed a bug report via iFly in iPad Mini 6.
Hey guys! This is something we're aware of and actively working to fix. Thanks for the notice on this! We'll keep you updated as to how things turn out!
Maybe you could add an F-16 detector--because this is what I see right now:
That's not even close to correct. The thing that looks like a preying mantis face is DC and Baltimore. The red circles should be centerd on its "nose" and should be solid red.
And in case you wonder, this is a Big Deal for us who fly anywhere near it. First you have to take an online course and pass a test. Then if you want to enter the outer red ring you have to be on a SFRA flight plan and talking to ATC. And if you want to fly into the inner red circle you have to appear in person in DC to apply for permission--and even then you'll probably be prohibited. And the F-16es? Heh. You don't want to find out.
