I think this would eventually be a good idea, but it's way down the list of things to do, unless it's as simple for the coders checking or unchecking a box.

The only color scheme change I've wished for is a more definite Day/Night contrast change. I feel like the portable devices somehow did a better job of that than the tablet devices do. Is that just my imagination?

I like the day/night options, wish it would stick if the elapsed time were detected to be short enough to still be obviously night. This hasn't been a problem with the 740 because of the backup battery, but it was very distracting on the 700 when I got a power interruption while flying at night. Of course that likely isn't the problem now that cell phones and tablets are the primary focus.
