how to update new version

While I regularly update the charts on my 740, I have never updated the version and can't find a video or forum answer to how to do it. How do I go from 11.1.22c to the new version 14?

I have a 740 as well, and AFAIK the 740 hasn't had a software update since 11.1.22c (5/24/2022) and they're not intending to update it.
You can update the charts on the SD card via iFly Connect, but you won't be able to use all the additional bells and whistles on v 14, the processor in the 7XX devices don't have the horsepower to handle anything beyond what it does in the version we have. If they do put out a higher version than what we currently have, you will have the option presented to you when you use iFly Connect.
