A question about Traffic Alerts:
When landing I know the "Alerts" for pattern type traffic are turned off, but is their visibility as a target turned off as well? On flights with several aircraft on straight in approaches targets near me just disappear as we near the runway. Others in the pattern are not showing either once I'm in the landing zone. For this morning's flight, I turned off the Traffic Alerts and all traffic targets are now showing which seems to be a safer situation.
Is there any way to just turn off the alerts only (when in the landing zone) and still see all traffic?
