TRSA's recognized as airspace
Let’s say all airspace exists to keep us separated and safe, most charted, some not (military bases come to mind). TRSA’s are strange (I’ll avoid saying they are one of FAA’s dummest ideas).
My map of choice is the vector map because it’s uncluttered and shows all the charted airspace. Easy planning and easy tactical navigation enroute in the flatlands. In the mountains I’m using the VFR chart. I rarely look at IFR charts anymore, and rarely file IFR nowadays to avoid potential PD’s, but that’s another story.
AP acknowledges TRSA’s because they show up in the airport information, communication area, but they’ve elected to say they don’t exist or are irrelevant with the ASPC info button. That’s a BIG disservice to us because it leads to confusion if we’re diverting and need quick airspace confirmation if we notice it on a VFR chart. I’m saying that, assuming AP has the option of setting a flag to include TRSA’s in the ASPC tab.
I request that TRSA’s be included in the ASPC info tab.
