Why is this airspace showing up when flight is not going through that airspace?

Can someone please explain? As you can see in the picture provided.... its showing the class D which I'm departing from but its also showing the class B (KBOS) and another class D but the flight does not go through these airspaces, which is confusing. So why does it show in the cross section/ vertical profile of the flight plan?

Hi Valler, the vertical profile instrument that you're displaying here is showing the vertical profile for your aircrafts current position and where you are facing. So since you are facing North it is showing the Bravo, etc.
You can see how the instrument moves and it's behavior by entering a simulation mode and flying around bit. (Menu > Start Simulation Mode > Show Simulation Controls)

For the Flight Plan vertical profile view, this is based on the actual flight plan and displays the route on the profile view. (Flight Plan > Options > Vertical Profile)

Thank you!

I think where I’m getting confused is because the flight plan that is loaded does not go through a class B or the other class D as shown in the vertical profile…. It’s actually not even pointed in that direction. It’s it avoids those air spaces…. So I was confused as to why they were showing up in the planned route?

Actually, I think I now see what you’re talking about the direction that the plane is pointing in on the ground… that makes sense! So this is not the same vertical profile that I would have if I go into the flight plan tab and look for the vertical profile correct? I’m assuming that one won’t have that airspace because it’s representing the flight plan?
