    Stratus 2S compatability

Google is your friend! I used a Stratux (DIY) prior to the Stratus 3 becoming available. I now have and use the Stratus 3.

    X7

Those belong to Android. Give Google a shot. G = some kind of Google notification keyhole = some kind of account authentication notification left & right arrow with exclamation point = no internet data All found by Googling.

Bug report using gmail vs outlook

I attempted to set up the Windows default email app as "Chrome" (the only Google-type app listed in Windows). After restarting Windows and testing the bug reporting feature in the iFly app, it still brought up Outlook to send the email. You can either follow Cobra's recommendation or submit a...

    SINGLE DATABASE (and Management Tool(s))

This would only be truly effective if our devices were 100% connected all of the time. However, we don't seem to have a "master database" in the cloud that we can manage and sync with. That would be nice. We seem to be managing multiple device databases stored in the cloud. I handle this by...

Auto-popup of pen icon with Auto-Taxi

This would definitely be on the innovative side, but I feel it asks the tool to do too much. I'm not IFR but I have heard that one can expect a certain approach so it can be pre-entered into a navigator. I'm not sure if there are expected taxi instructions once someone has landed. Are you...

    Wifi issues with X7

For some odd reason, my Android 14 tablet doesn't have such a setting. I did Google it though and as for the reason, Google AI states: "Android 13 may turn on Wi-Fi automatically to connect to preferred networks, a feature designed to save mobile data by connecting to known Wi-Fi when you're in...

    Wifi issues with X7

Is this in the iFlyEFB app settings or the OS (Android) settings?

Future Possibility? iFlightplanner.com reverse flight plan updating

It appears that you can export an iFlyEFB flight plan to a file. It appears to save it with a ".fpl" suffix. Does iFlightplanner.com allow imports of flight plans that are in the ".fpl" format?

The new X7 tablet - any PIREPS?

The SkyBeacon is ADS-B Out. You would only need to connect to it when you need to configure/update it. Perhaps you are referring to the SkySensor, which is ADS-B In?

    Indicated Altitude display

My 2cents: I like the idea of something configurable by the user on how I want to see the altitude information about the target (full "precise" or rounded & truncated altitude, actual MSL altitude or in relation to my altitude). If the "precise" data is there let the user decide what they want...

    Real Plan waypoints

I thought the "random" WPs are there to maximize advantages due to winds aloft in an area and avoiding airspace/items the user had selected to avoid. I'm only guessing but maybe a dev can provide more clarity.

The new X7 tablet - any PIREPS?

Held it in my hands twice at Oshkosh and was allowed to walk outside to see it in direct sunlight. The display is excellent! It is much thinner than the previously offered tablet and a much simpler cradle. I am going to pre-order it and will give a pirep once I have had a chance to use it in the...

Recommended minimum equipment for running iFly on tablet

If the tablet's internal GPS is WAAS capable, wouldn't it also indicate "WAAS". Apparently, the image for the external GPS also includes an ADS-B IN receiver. There are also WAAS-capable external GPS devices that have no ADS-B capabilities.

    Any PIREPS the iFly Tablet?

Thanks for the photos and write up. It appears that the Tripletek has a larger display screen than the iFly tablet.

Recommendations for 7-8 inch Android tablet for iFly

IMHO if u can afford, go with the rugged and high NITs Tripltek or the iFly tablet. If you can't, the under $200 Android tablet will do just fine.
