    iFly, you're letting us down.....

Hi Ed, sorry that we weren't at Sun n' Fun this year. We haven't been to SNF in a few years as it hasn't been the right decision for us as a business. We do plan on being at Oshkosh this year though so you might get a better chance there.

    Flight Plan Transfer

Hi everyone. Sorry that this thread hasn't been responded to yet. To clear things up, currently we're unable to integrate with all Garmin products, including the 660 and therefore unable to transfer flight plans back and forth. We have tried talking with them before, but their current answer for...

13.0.32 crashes on show past flight trail

Thanks for sending that bug report in! I saw the ticket earlier and have since forwarded it to development.

    Black screen

Yeah I agree, we'll definitely make sure that you all are heard and that you understand we are reading these posts and paying attention. Thanks!

    Black screen

Hi! This is a current issue that development is aware of. This has been an incompatibility issue with the older iPads and prevents them from being able to run the iFly app after updating. Development is working to fix this at the moment and we'll update you all once we have this fixed. Thanks...

PIREPS on the new iFly Tablet?

Absolutely, that is completely reasonable. The autopilot integration is something that development is still working on at the moment. We'll be releasing this feature in version 13.1. Currently, we're just about to release version 13.0 and expect to release 13.1 about a month afterward.

PIREPS on the new iFly Tablet?

Hello! Sorry for the late response on this, I'm trying to be more active on these forums as of recent. The new Aviation Tablet does not have PIREPS as it still uses the same software as the regular iFly EFB application on Android, iOS and Windows. This is something that's actually already on our...

Does iFly EFB work with Garmin GDL50, GDL52 ADSB receivers?

Hello! Unfortunately, we aren't able to work with Garmin products because they are exclusive with ForeFlight. I would recommend that you get the Stratus 3. It is the number one ADS-B In that we recommend and will work perfectly with our app. Have a good one!

    Safe Taxi Feature

Hello! By Safe Taxi, do you mean the ability to automatically pop up airport diagrams on the sectional chart whenever you are at an airport? If so, yes we do this, and this can be accessed by clicking, Menu > Setup > Map Settings > Enable Auto Taxi And yes, you can also sketch over this using...

    New iFly Tablet

Thanks for your support! We really appreciate it! The iFly EFB Aviation Tablet will be able to do the same autopilot functions as the 740/740b, just make sure if you decide to buy it to get the docking station because it uses that to connect to your autopilot with a serial cable. The tablet is...

    Wingbug

Just going to paste what Walter had said in our email thread in case any one would like to search for the answer to this as well. "Yes, it should receive GPS and ADSB data from the WingBug. However there are some proprietary data streams from that device, such as pressure and wind speed...

Mount for the new iFly tablet compatible with the mount I have my 740 on?

I'm unfamiliar with the exact Gooseneck mount you are talking about, but if it is connected to the normal 740b ram ball mount, that slides directly into the back of the unit, this will not work with the new Android tablet. The new Android tablet can be mounted via a few screws on the back of...

Does the 740b run the latest iFly version?

11.1.22c is the latest version available for the handheld units. Unfortunately, this does not include real plan and we will also no longer be updating the software on these units. This is mainly due to their hardware limitations. Though, we will still be supporting data updates and repairs.

    ADSB: Android/740 Differences?

We are trying to get a working Bluetooth to serial output device that way you can get NMEA data from iFlyEFB to an autopilot. I don't have a timeline for this, but it is something to expect in the future. As for now, the only devices that can do this with iFlyEFB are the iLevil 3 AW and SW...
