In my experience, any autopilot that accepts a NMEA input via a serial connection, I have had True Track, Trio, and Dynon - they all work great! If there is one outstanding feature about the 7XX units besides their stability it is the autopilot connectivity.

I am using the charging adapter on the side - my USBc port is free. It sure would make autopilot integration simple on our end

Wow… That seems like an awful lot of work just to get NMEA output to a EFIS or auto pilot. I wonder if it would be easier if the USB – C port were activated. I don’t know very much about coding but, I would hope that someday this would be possible. A wired connection is just about 100% fool proof

Thanks for the progress report. I hope that it works well for you. For now, I a using the X7 to feed the 740 with the wifi. The 740 is using the rs232/ usb cable.

Have you had the chance to connect it yet? Amazon has mixed reviews about connectivity/reliability

I TEND TO AGREE... I HAVE THREE 740 UNITS, JUST IN CASE. BUT, EVENTUALLY THEY WILL FAIL. THE TABLET IS NOT VERY PLEASING TO THE EYE WITHOUT AN AIRGIZMOS PANEL DOCK THAT CAN BE MADE TO LOOK SOMEWHAT PROFESSIONAL
