    Winds Aloft

That is a superb technique. I tried it out and clicked for Weather on a wave point. The nearest airport was selected, and when I selected wins, it gave me a similar screen as to what you attached. Multiple airports with winds along the route of flight. I really wish this could be incorporated...

    Data Validation

Hello, Does anyone know how information is received when you click on an airport, fix, MOA, etc? Are the Chart Supplements incorporated into the app so that when you click on an item on the map the information is pulled from the supplements? Are there other areas where the information is...

    Winds Aloft

More on winds aloft, I would really like to be able to use the functionality and features that IFly has to offer. I remember when looking at the compare EFB part prior to purchase, IFly indicated that it offered more features than Fore Flight. May be true, but I find much of it difficult to...

    Please Wait Message

I start the app and a “please wait” message appears and never goes away. If I select flight plan the message goes away. Today I decided to see how long it would take for disappear and hours later it’s still there. I have also noticed that every once in a while I have to agree to the...

    Winds Aloft

More on winds aloft... The winds simply do no align with the altitudes. Any advice on how to correctly identify winds at filed altitude, 8500'? Is this a matter of counting spaces and entries? Is there a setting where the display can be adjusted so as to show the winds aligned? Really...

    Vertical Profile

Ok, so I think figured it out. I entered a flight plan from LAX to Ontario and ran it in simulation mode. I was able to see the different airspace, color codes and now understand how to read it. I suspect the yellow/tan areas on vertical profile are the TFRs.

    Vertical Profile

I am trying to figure out all of the color coding through altitudes on the vertical profile. User manual really has nothing. Any other place to reference? Could this be airspace? Thanks

    Import Checklists

I am pulling out my hair trying to make checklist. It’s great that I can copy a whole checklist and rename it and try to edit. When it’s different airplane that’s a lot of different things to edit. Is there any sort of copy and paste function within the checklist feature or is it all manual? For...

    Winds Aloft

I have run the Briefing for flight plans and the winds aloft section seems very outdated and archaic. It looks like the “FB” Table model is used. A newer model presents more accurate information and is easier to read. Is the FB format what IFly uses?
