Will I be able to transfer my iFly EFB flight plan on my Ipad to my 10" Dynon Classic?
That sounds like it should be a Feature Request...It would be nice to have a Transfer button right on the Flight Plan page to push it directly when ready. I do not like the "Auto-Share Changes" function enabled as it can mess with the Dynon as soon as you change the plan and before you can confirm it correct. The when you do have it, it takes too many menu selections to get it there.
+1 For being able to export an IFly flight plan to my Garmin Aera 660. I'm able to export a Garmin Aera 660 flight plan and then import it to Ifly. Why not both ways?Has anyone had any luck transfering a flight plan from the EFB to a Garmin 660. I'll venture a guess that's a NO, but sure would be good if you could. That would solve the NMEA drive dilemma at least for me.
Like other's have said, I do wish iFly could implement Garmin flight plan transfers. I switched to Garmin Pilot, even though I prefer iFly's interface, because my airplane is heavily Garmin based with a G3X EFIS. I fly with Garmin Pilot EFB and my co-owner flies with ForeFlight and we both can transfer our Flight plans into the Garmin G3X. I would covert back to iFlyEFB in a heartbeat if it could support this functionality.
currently we're unable to integrate with all Garmin products, including the 660 and therefore unable to transfer flight plans back and forth. We have tried talking with them before, but their current answer for integrating with each other is no unfortunately.
The best way to do that is to post a feature request on the Feature Requests forum. AP keeps an eye on the items that get the most upvotes over there, and that factors into their software development planning.I did see that response and understand the limitation, but just wanted to make sure that Adventure Pilot knows that there are users waiting on this functionality if Garmin ever choses to open up their format.
