I just tested and it worked for me. Are you showing that the iPad is connected to the stratus wifi?

I'm neither an iOS nor a Stratus 3 guy, but I've heard lots of people having trouble using the Stratus 3 with EFBs other than Foreflight. Most of the time, it seems like the problems people encounter with the Stratus 3 happen when they're going back and forth between Foreflight and another EFB app.

The Stratus 3 has to be in "Open ADS-B" mode when used with iFly EFB, but I think it will automatically change back to its Foreflight-unique proprietary data mode when it's used with Foreflight.

Have you followed the Quick Start instructions on p. 3 of the Stratus 3 manual, specifically step 6?

@Cobra that is where I was going as well. I wanted to see if the iPad connected to the Wifi SSID of the stratus. Rules out the iPad first. There are a few security changes that came out in iOS in 17.7 as well as 18. If it connected then there is one additional security option between iOS and the app, which is allowing network access to the application.

After further troubleshooting it appeared to me that my Stratus 3 was not broadcasting a WIFI signal for my ADSB IN. So I sent the Stratus back to Appareo. After a short delay they sent it back reconditioned and the ADSB IN was restored. It was just a coincidence about the failure occurring after the download of IOS 17.7 and IOS 18. So all's good now !!!!! Thanks to all who responded with thoughtful comments and help. Cheers.
