Indian Reservations

Highlight Indian Reservations on the map. Maybe similar to MOA or Restricted airspace.
For what purpose? Are there particular flight restrictions/requirements over such locations?

Interesting. The tribe has declared jurisdiction of airspace over their reservation up to 20,000 but I wonder if the FAA agrees. It's one thing to land on the property but banning overflights by any aircraft??? Sounds like some overreach by the tribe. Standby to standby on this issue as it will most likely work its way through the courts. Are you aware of any other EFBs highlighting this type of land and airspace within the US national borders?

Heard of similar with tribes in AZ/NM area (Hualapi?) that took one. Don't know why the FAA didn't get all over this, but the plane is still impounded 6 months later... FWIW, some of the Air Ambulance services that go to the Res said they'd stop coming; the tribe said "oh, it's OK for you as long as you're coming to get an indigenous tribe member." If they'd said 2,000 AGL, that would have been IMHO understandable, but 20K??? c'mon bro!
As far as mapping REZ space, think all the AIrspace designations come into IFly from the FAA. If they don't consider it worthy of mapping, that should tell us something :)!
