Is there a Legend for the symbology on the new Vertical altitude Layers depiction?
And if so, where can I find it? In the app somewhere? or online?

What do the colors on the two horizontal lines at the top of the screen mean?
What do the various cross hatchings, shadings and colors for the "cloud coverage" and "surface visibility" blocks mean?
I know I can figure some of this out by turning the various options on and off,
but shouldn't there be a legend somewhere with all of this info on it as a reference?

uhhh... Hm. I'm sure I've seen what you're looking for--but it's not visible tonight, neither on my iPad Mini 6, nor my iPhone 14 Pro Max. However, the iPhone doesn't even show the lines! I've submitted a bug report.

I just downloaded the manual, and no joy on the legend explanation.

Please

If you go into Map Mode and pull up the WX layers, you'll see that what you see here in the Veritcal view corresponds to that. Indeed, the lines are the top are Flight Rules (Green=VFR, etc.) The Cloud "boxes" show the altitude clouds are at, so in the example you posted, if you fly at 6K you wont run into clouds. 5K and below youre going to be MVFR (or IFR) when youre in the clouds. Hope that helps. PS Not sure about the cloud box with partial ?dk green? overlays...
