Nav log shows true course only? No mag Heading?

I don't know why i haven't seen this before...but in the nav log of the flight plan it shows the heading as "true". So this heading ISN'T correcting for the variation or wind in this flight planning area? Why isn't the mag heading geing shown. When I test fly the flight it shows my bearing as same as true course? Why is it not showing an adjusted magnetic heading?

This will change the flight plan headings to magnetic north:
Menu > Setup >Units of Measure > Compass > Magnetic North

This will change the flight plan headings to true north:
Menu > Setup >Units of Measure > Compass > True North

These also change the Track and Bearing instrument. I suspect that any wind correction will be reflected in the Bearing instrument reading.
