That is a new one for me in FL.It's a local custom. Such a large % of traffic moves N and S long the peninsula, the pilots here have adopted hemispheric rule 90° off the traditional. The most GA VFR traffic density is up and down the shoreline. The local rule makes that much safer. I agree though that maybe an option to apply the standard rule might be nice in the RealPlan
