Under the sketches which is a great feature, is it possible to have an upload feature where we can upload an image (i.e .jpg) which can then be selected as a sketch?

For example, I'd love to upload an image from MS Word which I use to record the ATIS info, airport frequencies, etc. It would be great to open this and fill it out.

Thanks

I believe there is already a blank "CRAFT" sheet you can use to sketch on.
Yes there is.

I'm looking for the ability to download/upload an image and then new able to write on it.

For example, i might have an image (created from Word) which contains a template for airport frequencies that I can write in along with ATIS information as well. That's just one example but having the ability to load a template image which I could then sketch on would be very useful

I agree with your request. 1. Can you import a sketch file? 2. What is the required file format? 3. How do you import the file. Sketch templates should be shareable.

did anything ever come from this request? I wonder if someone could "find" where the CRAFT template is stored on the EFB app, and see if we could modify that file?

Here's where it seems to be on the Windows iFlyEFB:

C:\Program Files\Adventure Pilot\iFly EFB\Assets\Resources\Images\SketchTemplates

And this looks like where your individual saved files reside:

C:\_iFlyGPS_Data\User\#Sketches

That would work as well until/if this gets approved.
