From time to time, you may run across a bug in iFly EFB. If you do, the most effective way to communicate that to Adventure Pilot is to submit a bug report from inside the iFly EFB application: Menu > About > Send Bug Report.
You will be asked if you want to select a log file to attach, or send the Default log file. The Default file is the log from the last time the iFly app was running, so if you experienced a crash and relaunched the app, or if you shut down and restarted the app, and then immediately went to send a bug report, then selecting the Default log is appropriate. If the bug occurred sometime farther back, then selecting the specific log file from the time the anomaly occurred is appropriate.
Note that there are two types of log files:
If you submit a bug report, that's not a guarantee the bug will get fixed (though the odds are pretty good). However, if you see a bug and don't report it, then that practically guarantees it won't get fixed!

- "Normal" log files. iFly EFB generates a log file every time it runs. This file contains info about how the app is operating and how the user is interacting with the app, but it does not include any ADSB data. The most recent of these log files is what will be included if the "Default log" is selected when submitting a bug report.
- "ADSB" log files. These logs are much larger than the normal log files and so must be manually triggered by the user. If you are having issues that involve ADSB traffic or weather data, then you may need to capture the ADSB stream for Adventure Pilot support staff to investigate. To do this, go to Menu > About > Connected Devices > Select Wireless Device, and check "Enable ADS-B Logger" at the end of the list. Proceed to duplicate the issue you are having, then either close iFly or go back and uncheck "Enable ADS-B Logger" to close the log file. Then, send a bug report, and manually select the ADSB log file that is associated with your issue. (Scroll all the way to the bottom of the list of log files to find the ADSB logs.)
