    Version 13 for Windows!

No. It's just that @johnelia did not find the latest Windows version, which as you mention is v14.0.17. That version was announced in this post: https://adventurepilot.community.forum/threads/ifly-efb-14-0-17-windows-beta.822/ v13.2.17 isn't even still available at the installer link...

Portrait mode not working in iOS 26.1

Hm. I can't replicate this on an iPad Mini 5 running iOS 26.0.1. I didn't notice any changes in iFly behavior when I updated to iOS v26 several weeks ago--it works fine in both portrait and landscape mode. I just checked and the device was set to Full Screen Mode. I tried changing it to...

No Audible traffic alarm while sitting stationary

Gotcha, thanks for the clarification. If you've got the same version of iFly installed on both devices, you should see the same menu options. iFly was designed to have the same user interface across all the platforms it supports for consistency. Whether you use it on an iPhone, a Windows...

No Audible traffic alarm while sitting stationary

Gatormyk has addressed your other questions and I can't add anything to his response. Re: Android vs. iOS, though, the app performance should be essentially identical when used on comparable hardware. If you're seeing sluggishness on Android compared to iOS, it's probable that you're either...

    ADS-B receiver compatibility

I think the original Stratus (v1) can be used with iFly, but there may be a caveat that it has to be running an early firmware version. I don't know how many of those original devices are still in use these days. As MDreger said, the Stratus 3 can work with iFly, with the caveats he described...

    X7 Charging Issues

That's correct. The 7xx devices were not designed to be powered via the USB port, and predate all of the high-wattage power protocols over USB that exist today.

    X7 Charging Issues

I have a couple of cables like this one...mine are a different brand, but they're no longer available on Amazon. This one has better ratings so hopefully it's legit. I like it because you can see explicitly if the power supply is delivering all the juice to your device that you're expecting.

    X7 Charging Issues

Yes. There are multiple power transfer standards that use the USB interface. There are "USB standard" power transfer methods, and then there are (many) other methods that simply use the USB interface but implement their own protocols that are independent of the "USB standard".

    X7 Charging Issues

The original USB standard was (is) indeed for 5V, at a maximum 0.5A, for a total of 2.5W. There is no logic involved--just connect to the pins and draw power. As the USB interface has grown in sophistication through USB 2.0, 3.0, etc., options to draw more power from the interface have been...

    X7 Charging Issues

Do you have the specs for your plane's power port? Here in 2025, there are now several (dozens?) of possible power standards and voltage/current combinations, and not all devices support all charging standards, and not all charging ports support all charging standards. The negotiated power...

Cellular Data over Satellite (T-Mobile, etc)

Yes, that's what I had in mind when I asked the question. For the Starlink Mini service, there are "stationary" and "in motion" plans available. (There are also certain geographic restrictions, though I think those are unlikely to come into play for most iFly customers.) In the past, Starlink...

Cellular Data over Satellite (T-Mobile, etc)

Are there any constraints / limitations to that service regarding location or movement? I.e., does the phone need a clear view of the sky, or would it be expected to reasonably work from inside an aluminum-skinned aircraft? Does the phone need to be stationary or moving "slowly"? I ask...

Cellular Data over Satellite (T-Mobile, etc)

iFly is just an app on your device, like any other app. Internet connectivity is handled at the device level--that's not something iFly controls. For example, some people are starting to fly with Starlink antennas in their planes, which provides Internet service in flight. You can do the...
