Blank <Timer> keeps appearing

I've been playing with my new x7 tablet for a few months now and i periodically have the behavior where a Timer box appears in the center of the map. The heading of the timer widget is '<Timer>'. Long clicking the widget shows the Countdown Timers menu at the top of the screen. Delete Timer is greyed out. "Tap 'Add Timer" to create your first timer" shows. If click Add Timer, i can assign a timer to the widget and the name changes from '<Timer>' to 'Switch Tanks' or which ever one I select. I can long press again and click Delete Timer but the widget remains. It also retains the name of the timer, in this example 'Switch Tanks'. I searched this forum looking for users having the same issue and also looked at the online PDF's instructions. Where is this timer widget coming from and how do I remove it? This behavior existed when i got my tablet over the winter and also since the v14.0.64 upgrade earlier this month. I've also tried restarting the app and also the tablet.

I have never experienced this behavior, but it is clearly unintended/undesired. Please submit a bug report. Instructions for how to do so are here:

From time to time, you may run across a bug in iFly EFB. If you do, the most effective way to communicate that to Adventure Pilot is to submit a bug report from inside the iFly EFB application: Menu > About > Send Bug Report.

You will be asked if you want to select a log file to attach, or send the Default log file. The Default file is the log from the last time the iFly app was running, so if you experienced a crash and relaunched the app, or if you shut down and restarted the app, and then immediately went to send a bug report, then selecting the Default log is appropriate.
