According to iFly, we only made it to 64,534' MSL. I guess we put too much hydrogen in... iFly EFB did great on the way up. It was spinning a bit too fast on the way down to keep a good GPS lock. We used a Stratux ADS-B unit. It was also the launch of Sky High Scoops, another project of our GRCC Aviation Academy. https://www.airmarion.com/skyhighscoops

Unfortunately, there is a small wooded area in the middle of those wide-open fields... We had to cut the tree down to recover the iFly iPad. Unfortunately, the tree landed straight on top of the payload module... Thankfully, our IT team was able to do data recovery and were able to pull off the .log file to play the flight trail back on my Windows computer! Thank you for coming along on our little journey.
