Arkon also makes a great mount for Tabs, if not "permanent." But, IMHO, just mounting a perm. base to a cover plate is not going to get you busted as long as it interferes with no controls or system components. And that would be a great solution, as @Gatormyk suggested.

Respectfully disagree. I only use IFly for FP now, usually on my PC, and then share it to a tablet and or phone when done. That easily solves the continuity problem. The 4 device plan is only a couple bucks a month more; well worth it if you're going from PC to Tab(s) to Phone! What part of the...

@Mandersoon FWIW, I had the same issue w a 2s receiver for my Stratus ESG. Bought a 3s, 30 seconds to install. Sold the 2s to a FF user for about 1/2 of what it cost me to move up to the 3s. Works great w IFLy

Not sure how you would use that. The "500" (AGL) is standard; what I'd like to see is callouts from there to ground: "250...100...50...25...10" Now THAT would be really helpful!

Maybe, but isn't it just simpler to let you, as the PIC, "pick" your own altitude? And with the recent enhancements, you can input a different altitude for each segment! Also, don't forget: that rule only applies above 3000 ft AGL -- so different in the flatlands than it is in the mountains...

Interesting. I've been running .47 on a DELL Inspiron 16 Plus, and haven't had either of those problems. There is a new version about to be released though...maybe that will solve it for you. OR, pain in the butt that it is, you could try a "clean" install. Just make sure to wipe out everything...
