    Wifi issues with X7

So after much teeth gnashing and fumbling around, I believe I found the problem with my wi-fi connection reported on above. Below the available wi-fi connections on the Internet page off the Settings tab, is a Network Settings section and in that section is a "Turn on Wi-Fi automatically"...

    Wifi issues with X7

Really having problems with the X7 tablet not locking in on wifi. At first it was intermittent now it's chronic. Tried everything. I understood that the iFly folks had the wifi chip replaced in their tablets because the originals were known for their wifi issues. I've reached out to support and...

Does anyone have any experience with the new tablet being offered? If so can you share your impressions.

Does the 740b run the latest iFly version?

Do you have a projected sunset date on the 740b possibly based on planned future updates to the EFB totally outstripping its capabilities?

    Any PIREPS the iFly Tablet?

Thank you for the write up. From your pics, it does appear to me that the iFly has a tad more screen real estate. You mentioned the Tripletek was mounted on the corner of the windshield. Do you use a suction mount on the windshield? Also, what do you use the USB-C cable for? Thanks again.

PIREPS on the new iFly Tablet?

Take a look at this thread. Scroll down and you'll find a pics of an iFly tablet cradle installation. It is bulky. https://adventurepilot.community.forum/threads/why-would-i-want-to-buy-an-ifly-tablet-and-what-about-waas.386/

Why would I want to buy an iFly tablet? And what about WAAS?

Thank you. That answers a lot of questions I have about what it would take to mount it in my plane.

Why would I want to buy an iFly tablet? And what about WAAS?

I assume you cut a hole in the panel to make it work. Would you mind sharing a pic of how that looks on your panel?

Why would I want to buy an iFly tablet? And what about WAAS?

I too have been a 740b user and have been trying to get feedback on the new tablet. My argument for the iFly tablet over an iPad would be daylight readability in the cockpit and heat tolerance. One of the 740b's main benefits was its bright screen and the fact that it didn't overheat and...

PIREPS on the new iFly Tablet?

So I guess we are left to speculation right now about how it well it works and integrates into the cockpit. I'm sure the tablet itself will be fine so that leaves, for me at least, the question of integration in the cockpit. One thing I just noticed is that the docking station uses a RAM mount...

PIREPS on the new iFly Tablet?

In December I asked if there were any PIREPS on the new iFly tablet and got nary a response. Can anyone share their impressions after using it a while? I want it to replace a Garmin 795 but before I rip out the panel mount on the Garmin to replace it, I'd like to get some feedback on the iFly...

    IFly v Garmin 795

My plane came equipped with a Garmin 795 and a GDL50. I've been using it along side my 740B. I have to say I think the iFly hands down is my preferred GPS. So much more flexibility and ease of use. I've never had Garmin navigation equipment before but it seems overly engineered to me. It looks...
