    GPS Status?

The 430W is hard wired to the EchoUAT as a WAAS GPS source. It is not a big deal, but I always wonder, when I become aware of something not working as expected, what else is not working as expected. Thanks.

    Android tablet iFly files stored?

How do I sync to the cloud? Also, if I have "stuff" on a 740 and a tablet or iPad, when I sync does it combine the data to all devices on my account?

    Android tablet iFly files stored?

I want to try out iFly on a different tablet and don't want to lose all of my files. Is there a way to find and save files to another device or external storage?

    GPS Status?

This is what my screen looks like. I would think a Garmin 430W would be supplying WAAS. As this is a new device, I am trying to understand if this signal is coming from the Android device or from the EchoUAT.

    GPS Status?

My Android tablet is connected to the "Ping wifi" while flying. My iFly "instrument" titled "GPS Status" shows ADS-B and a single green bar. I have seen talk here that WAAS in blue means something, but don't recall the details. My uAvionix Echo is connected to my Garmin 430W. Thanks.

    Android, iFly, EchoUAT auto connect

Thanks for the reply. I am no expert, but as I stated the EchoUAT is a non-secure wifi network and I am thinking the Android 13 device isn't reconnecting automatically for that reason. I did confirm that I had done the steps you stated. When I get back to the airplane I think I will delete that...

    Android, iFly, EchoUAT auto connect

It seems the Android tablet does not like to auto connect to the unsecured EchoUAT WiFi. Not too surprising, but I figured that maybe someone here may have had the same problem and found a fix. I can manually connect the Android to the EchoUAT WiFi, but the auto connect takes one more thing off...

    Android tablet SD card data?

In my 740b, the microSD card logged my trips. I am wondering if an Android tablet with a microSD card will do the same? If it will, is there anything I need to do to start the logging?

    compass rose on screen

What determines the diameter of the compass rose surrounding the aircraft icon? What is the orange dot on the compass rose? Is there a way to set the diameter of the compass rose to a distance ring.... say 5 miles?

Mount for the new iFly tablet compatible with the mount I have my 740 on?

I have a 740b with the RAM ball that mounts on the back. Does the new tablet have a way to accept some version of a RAM ball? I realize the 740b had a special RAM ball, but I am asking if some version of the RAM balls that are available will mount to the new tablet.

New iFly tablet vs Android tablet comparison?

I am wondering why one should buy the new iFly tablet vs just using iFly on an Android tablet? I know there must be some good reasons. Thanks for anyone's help with this question.

Flight Plan Transfer FF to iFly

I see that it is now possible to transfer from iFly to Foreflight. Is it possible to import a Foreflight plan into iFly easily? Yes I fly with friends that use FF and I use iFly. I have also used FF because I had previously only been able to import our flight plan manually. That leaves an...

    iFly GPS Signal

There is no mention that I see in regards to GPS reception by the new iFly tablet in the specs. Does this mean the new tablet does not have a GPS receiver?

    New iFly device ?

My original purchase of the iFly products was based on the devices more than the software. That balanced over time, but the device is still a significant part of the equation. For me and many of my fellow pilots, the iFly devices were much better in terms of screen brightness/readability. I fly...
